TUBELESS TIRE SEALANT
TUBELESS TIRE SEALANT
High performance tire sealant specifically designed for the tubeless systems of both mountain bikes and road bikes. The advanced formulation combines fast-acting polymers with suspended rubber particles to instantly seal punctures, providing a patch as durable as the tire itself. Developed with top professional teams, Tubeless Sealant is robust enough for the professional, immediately sealing punctures up to ¼” and long-lasting enough for the leisure rider, remaining functional for up to 6 months.

PRODUCT VISION:
Deliver an improved bicycle riding experience over inner tube equipped wheels by:
1. Eliminating pinch-flats
2. Mitigating the effects of punctures
3. Allowing for a greater range of usable tire pressures.
4. Save weight, reduce rolling resistance, increase acceleration
5. Up to 1lb weight reduction when converting an MTB from tubes
PRODUCT FUNCTION:
Tubeless Sealant functions by bleeding through the leak or puncture and drying in place, creating its own plug/patch
APPLICATIONS:
• All sizes of tubeless-compatible bicycle rim/tire combinations
• Install into inner tubes to reduce or eliminate air loss following a puncture
INSTALLATION:
1. Verify that the rim and tire are both tubeless-compatible
2. Ensure the rim is clean and dry
3. Inspect both the rim tape/strip and valve stem for damage. Replace if necessary.
4. (Reinstall valve stem if previously removed)
5. Begin by installing one bead of the tire onto the rim
a. Use the cavity in the profile of the rim to “make room” for the tire when pulling it over the wall of the rim
6. Install the opposing bead around approximately ¾ of the rim.
7. Add 2-4oz of Tubeless Sealant into the tire
a. Carefully rotate uninstalled section to the 12 o’clock position
8. Install remaining section of tire onto the rim
9. *Pull the shoulders of the tire apart
10. Air up the assembly to seat the beads
a. Do not to exceed maximum tire pressure
b. Compressed air works best for setting up a new tire
11. Once the beads have been set, position the valve at 6 o’clock and “bounce” tire
a. This will seal the valve stem to rim interface
b. If leaking occurs at the stem, check that the stem nut is tight, and, continue until Tubeless Sealant has sealed the leak
12. Hold the wheel assembly flat, and rock the tire side-to-side while rotating to seal one bead
a. Flip the wheel to the other side to seal the opposite bead
13. Reinstall wheel assembly, enjoy your bike!
